Rabbit interacted with my camera a lot during their set. I was the on-stage “squirrel cam” and I had a total blast. These guys made a huge fan out of me. We got some killer footage with our tech crew. So very, very pleased.

I… may have become an Engineer-eteer. I can’t help it! Steam Powered Giraffe appeals to me, so much so I want to be a patron! Dashing suits and top hats and men in make-up and uncanny-valley-crossing movements? Not to mention their amazing vocal range and expressive faces and lovely harmonies and hilarious antics. :D
They just released a new music video for patrons, for their song “Automatonic Electronic Harmonics.” Where Honeybee was smooth and classy, this new one is over-the-top and silly! XD Rabbit actually wears his goggles, and gets to wear his zillion belts from this character design. And also has entirely too much fun with the wind machine. Meanwhile The Jon is in his own world as always with sombreros and giant pink crazy cowboy hats, while The Spine is… The Spine. By which I mean, tall, spindly, and sexy no matter what he does.
All fanart is just fanart in our eyes. Creepy is an opinion!

One year ago today, Joplin, MO was devastated by an EF5 tornado.
i just saw a documentary about this tornado the other day. apparently most people did have warning, but the tornado was such a monster that even basements and saferooms got destroyed. scary.
I live only 75 miles away. I knew something was wrong that evening when photos started falling from the sky.

Never did. They weren’t photos of people or anything, so at least they shouldn’t be too sorely missed.

I am officially back on Team Dave<3John! It, uh, has 11 members now…. but it looks like it’s not the only team that had to break that rule, and that surely beats kicking off some other poor soul who was told they’d made it.
Weeeell, supposedly I am still on Team Dave<3John. Something just got messed up and it’s taking a while to get it sorted out.
I guess I didn’t make Team Dave/John after all?
Huh. Well, guess I’ll wait a few more days, let the dust settle, make sure it’s not a temporary mix-up.
Then I’ll be free to shuffle over to any team that needs another member! Or I can just stick with Alchemeter. Whatever I feel like in the end.
